West Bengal - Online Apply for Agriculture Electricity Connection

Step 2 : To apply for agriculture electricity connection online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Apply Online

Step 3 : In the home page, select “CONSUMER CORNER” tab which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below from the given menu.

Step 4 : In the displayed list of options, please click on “Connection Management” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 5 : Now, select “Online Application” option which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 6 : From the given sub-options, click on “New Connection (LT Others)” tab which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below from the list.

Step 7 : New Connection (LT Others) page will appear on the screen, if you are a registered user, enter ‘Username, Password, and “Captcha Text” which is pointed with “RED” arrow, then login by hitting “Login” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

Step 8 : If you are not a registered user, click on “New User” hypertext which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below to register.

Note : If you have logged in by entering credentials, please skip to “Step 16” to continue with the application process.

Step 9 : In ‘Self Registration for New Connection’ page, enter your name and mobile number as prompted and click on “Generate OTP” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

Step 10 : Once the OTP is sent, enter the OTP in the provided space and hit on “Validate” button which is pointed with a “RED” arrow in the image given below.

Step 11 : Now, provide your ‘Email ID’ as prompted and again click on “Generate OTP” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 12 : Please check your mail and provide the OTP number in the space provided. Then, click on “Validate” button which is pointed with “RED” arrow in the image given below.

Step 13 : Now, you have to create a password and confirm it. Then, hit on “Submit” button which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image given below.

Step 14 : You will receive an acknowledge for successful registration and the login credentials will be mailed to the registered email id as shown in the image below.

Step 15 : Now, go to the login page in previous tab, provide your login credentials, “Enter Captcha Text” which is pointed with “RED” arrow and then click on “Login” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 16 : In the given page, select “Connection for Individual” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 17 : Here, click against “Please Select Your Region District” dropdown menu which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image given below.

Step 18 : Select your preferred region in the list of given options as shown in the image below.

Step 19 : The same way select the ‘Consumer Care Center’ and ‘Connection Type’ as applicable and click on “Next” button which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image given below.

Step 20 : Now, an application form will appear on the screen. First to fill the details in ‘General Information’ section, click against “Consumer Type” dropdown menu which is pointed with “RED” arrow in the image given below.

Step 21 : Choose an appropriate option given against “Consumer Type” menu which are highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 22 : To select purpose of supply click against “Purpose Of Supply” dropdown menu which is pointed with “RED” arrow in the image given below.

Step 23 : Select “AGRICULTURE” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below in the list of options in order to apply for agricultural electricity connection.

Step 24 : Now, select the type by clicking against “Type” dropdown menu which is pointed with “YELLOW” arrow in the image given below from the given options as applicable.

Step 25 : Next, fill the rest of the details in ‘General Information’, ‘Service Connection Address’ and ‘Communication Address’ sections as per the prompt.

Step 26 : To select connection category in ‘Technical Information’ section, click against “Category Of Connection” dropdown menu which is pointed with “YELLOW” arrow in the image below and choose appropriate option.

Step 27 : Similarly, fill the remaining details in this section as applicable and finally hit on “Validate” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 28 : Now, you will have provide ‘Load Information’ details and then select “Verify Load” which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 29 : The page will display a question whether the applicant is willing to upload documents and photo. If you want to upload choose “Yes” option which is pointed with “RED” arrow and if not, choose “No” option which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image below.

Step 30 : Upload all the required documents by clicking on the “Choose File” button which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image and upload photo as applicable and click on “Submit Uploaded Documents” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 31 : Once uploaded, select “Submit All Details” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below to submit the application.

Step 32 : Finally, click on “Submit All Details” button which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image given below.

Step 33 : You will receive a “New Connection Applied Successfully” acknowledgment with the application number. Also, you can download the application by clicking on “Download Application Form” tab which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below. Please save it for future reference.

Step 34 : To download quotation, select “Download Quotation Letter” tab which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image given below.

Step 35 : In the given page, click on “Generate Quotation” button which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image given below.

Step 36 : Pay the amount by clicking on the "New Connection E-Pay” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below. On the opened page, please complete the details and hit “Pay now” button. User shall process the given payment and click on the right tab to complete the payment.

Step 37 : Applicant can use the “Payment Receipt” option to print the receipt. This application will be processed further. Please look for the notification and follow the guidelines to get the connection.

Step 38 : To track your application status, select “New Connection Application Status” option which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image given below.

Step 39 : In this page, enter your application number and click on “View Status” which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 40 : Application status will be displayed on your screen as shown in the image below.
