Wallis and Futuna - Apply for Emergency Passport
ProcedureEdit
- To apply for an emergency passport, applicants will need to apply in person at the Passport Office.
- Applicants will be asked to complete an application and submit it together with these following documents:
- The old passport, valid identification or the family register, or an excerpt from birth with full parentage with the names of the fathers and mothers or, if applicable, the full copy of the marriage certificate or any official document with photo to identify the applicant with certainty;
- Two recent photographs, 35 mm x 45 mm, identical and perfectly similar, face, bareheaded on a light background (light gray or light blue)
- Proof of residence;
- Tax stamp amounting to 3 000 fcfp;
- Any document justifying the urgency of the trip (Act of death, certificate of hospitalization, mission order.)
- Applicants will be advised when can they come back to collect their emergency passport.

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest French Embassy in the country you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will process your request to obtain an emergency passport.

Notes:
- Photographs may be taken directly at the passport office.
- Applications by users who cannot be identified are not admissible.

EligibilityEdit
Applicants must be able to justify:
- the urgent need for the trip: serious family reasons (serious illness requiring medical evacuation of emergency or death of a family member).
- urgent travel for professional reasons.
Exceptions are granted by the General Secretary depending on the applicant's situation, they are not automatic.
