Procedure

1. To apply for and permit or approval to install standby generator the applicant has to approach the Ministry Of Communication And Works.
2. The applicant has to complete and submit the appropriate application form that can be obtained from the office.
3. The Electrical Inspections Unit would contact the applicant to arrange the site visit.
4. Once approved, a letter of approval would be issued to the applicant from the Ministry of Communication and Works.
   
   

Note : If the original installation is to be changed or modified, the applicant is suppose to inform the Electrical Inspections Unit.
