ProcedureEdit

  1. Before you apply for the procedure, make sure that your taxes have been paid, or arrange payment plan with the Department to liquidate outstanding sum.
  2. Obtain an application form from any Inland Revenue office or print one online.
  3. Complete the application form and submit it to the main office on Tortola or the Virgin Gorda Office, accompanied by a valid Trade License and application fee.
  4. A Government receipt will be issued and payment is immediately reflected on your account.
  5. It will take the Department a minimum of three (3) business days to process your request.
  6. Return to the office to collect your Certificate of Good Standing.

  • Copy of valid Trade License or requisite documents, the name on the Trade License would be the name on the Certificate.
  • Certificate of Incorporation, if the applicant is a corporation

EligibilityEdit

The Certificate of Good Standing is available to any tax payer requiring this Certificate.

Before you apply for the procedure, make sure that your taxes have been paid. Any taxes outstanding must be fully paid or at least half the tax (50%) must be paid and a monthly payment must be arranged for the balance.



FeesEdit

Certificate of Good Standing: $10.00 each



ValidityEdit

The Certificate of Good Standing is only valid for three months from date of issue.
