Procedure

Application for marriage certificates can be made in the following ways.

Apply In-Person

1. Please approach one of the office locations that is provided under the following link : Civil Registry and Passport Office
2. Applicant will provide the staff with the details and the date of death.
3. A search for the marriage record is conducted. If a record is found a marriage certificate is issued to the applicant.
4. A fee is also collected from the applicant and a marriage certificate is provided as per the request made by the applicant.
   
   

Apply On-line

1. Please use the following link for applying on-line : Apply On-line
2. Once the application form is completed, print the application form and submit it in the civil registry.
3. When submitting your application an application fee is collected and a receipt is issued to the customer.
4. After verification of the information provided the requested marriage certificate is provided to the applicant.
   
   

Note : If the application was received via courier through the online service; Death Certificate, cover letter and receipt will be mailed to the applicant via regular mail or through the applicants return (prepaid) envelope.
