Procedure

1. To apply for the Summer Apprenticeship Programme, students need to complete the Summer Apprenticeship Application Form and submit it to the Department of Human Resources.
2. The application form is acknowledged and routed to the Strategic Succession Planning Unit.
3. Your application will be reviewed by the participating Ministries and Departments. Students will be referred to relevant ministries and departments for consideration.
4. Students are selected by the Ministry/Department for the Summer Apprenticeship Programme.
5. Assignment letters are prepared by the Department of Human Resources to the successful student along with details and requirements of the assignment and the Apprenticeship Programme.

To apply for the programme you must complete and submit an application form which can be completed online or you may also print the blank form, fill it out and submit the form by mail.

The Summer Apprenticeship Programme for Students provides college and university students the opportunity to take part in a structured work-to-learn programme for a period of up to five (5) weeks to translate academic training in a working environment.
