Procedure

1. To amend or correct a marriage record, the applicant has to approach the Civil Registery and Passport Office. Following link provides information related to civil registry and passport office : Civil Registry and Passport Office
2. The applicant has to submit a affidavit requesting for the correction in marriage record
3. A receipt is issued to the Customer.
4. If the authorities are satisfied with all the documents that are provided, the requested change is approved and the record is updated accordingly.
