In PersonEdit

  1. Fill up 1 application form. For foreigners, that form must be certified by the Embassy, the Consulate, or the heads of the organizations where they are studying or working. Download here
  2. Carrying Identification Card or passport.
  3. Health certificate.
  4. Taking four passport photos (3x4)

By MailEdit

  1. That declaration form has to be certified by the ward or commune police and her sealed photos. (4 photos)
  2. Attaching the photocopy of Identification Card.
  3. Health certificate.

  1. Completed 1 declaration form with 4 passport photos (3x4)
  2. Bringing the Health certificate.
  3. In case of necessity the applicants must bring original household registration book or its endorsed copy to collate.
  4. When applying for motorbike driving license, the applicants must present the original ID to check.

EligibilityEdit

The applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Having ID
  • Over 18 years old
  • Being physically fit (as decided by 4132/QD-BYT).
  • Especially with the foreigners working or studying in Vietnam, they must additionally submit a valid Vietnamese Residence Permit and are able to read, write and understand Vietnamese language.



FeesEdit

  • School fee is 70,000vnd that include 50,000vnd for learning theory and 20,000vnd for practicing driving.
  • Fee for taking test and applying for motorbike driving license is 100,000vnd that include 30,000vnd for taking the Theory Test, 40,000vnd for taking the Practical Test and 30,000vnd for issuing the Motorbike Driving License.
  • The retest fee is 50% the first test fee.



ValidityEdit

The validity of Motorbike Driving License is lifetime.

Processing TimeEdit

  1. Time to complete the application for the passport is 5-7 days from the date of document submission.
  2. The applicants passing both the Theory and Practical Test are admitted to get the Motorbike Driving License after 20 days from the date of receipt of the test results.

InstructionsEdit

  • The total time to learn about the Traffic Laws is 6 classes, and total time to practice driving motorbike is 4 classes.
  • The Theory Test is multiple choices, time is 15 minutes. Candidates have to answer 20 questions, and be right at least 16 questions or more in order to pass the Theory Test and continue to take the Practical Text.
  • In the Practical Test the candidates must wear the helmets and complete all four continuous sections including: driving the figure 8 pattern, over the bar line, over the road having the bar bridge and over the rugged roads.
  • The candidates passing both the Theory and Practical Test are admitted to get the Motorbike Driving License after 20 days from the date of receipt of the test results.
