ProcedureEdit

By Phone:

  • Call VicRoads during business hours on 13 11 71 within Australia or +613 9854 7763 from overseas during business hours and pay by credit card (Mastercard or Visa).

By Mail:

  • You can send your renewal notice to VicRoads together with the renewal fee.
  • For a license/permit replacement send a letter with your details such as name, date of birth, address and license/permit number (if known) together with the replacement fee.
  • You can pay by either credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or cheque. Send to:
    VicRoads
    Licence Correspondence
    Locked Bag 7000
    KEW VIC 3101

By BPAY:

  • To use BPAY please call your participating financial institution to make a payment. (You can not use BPAY for a replacement of a license/permit).

The new license or learner permit will be sent to the current address you have registered with VicRoads unless otherwise specified. Please allow two to four weeks for delivery if you have requested your new license to be mailed overseas.

  • If VicRoads holds a digitalized image of you that is not older than 5 years (this will be indicated on your license renewal notice) you can renew or replace a license or permit by phone, mail or BPAY. If the image that VicRoads holds is more than 5 years old you will be required to send a completed Photo Kit form to VicRoads with your credit card details or cheque to:

  • If you do not know whether VicRoads has a recent photo of you on its database, you can find this and more information by calling 13 11 71 within Australia or +613 9854 7763 from overseas.
