Procedure

Residents of Uttarakhand could get a new Drainage or Sewer connection through the following procedure.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a drainage or sewer connection, one has to visit the concerned divisional or sub divisional office of sewerage department in your area Location and Contacts
2. Before applying, please consult with the concerned authority regarding all the requirements necessary for getting a new drainage connection.
3. Procure the application form for sewerage connection by paying the required fee.

5. In the procured application form, fill all the required details.
6. Attach the photocopy of all the required documents with the application form.
7. Submit the documents at the divisional or sub divisional Office and receive the acknowledgement receipt.
8. The documents will be verified and if the application is eligible, the applicant will be notified to pay the charges. Rejected applications will be returned to the applicant with intimation.
9. Pay the service charges as instructed and register your connection and receive the acknowledgement receipt.
10. Obtain permission for road cutting from the respective department if required.
11. Your application will now be forwarded to the concerned area officer for sanction.
12. Site inspections will be made by the authority officers and any correction regarding the application will be notified to the applicant.
13. After all the requirements and changes have been met by the applicant, the work order will be issued for the connection.

1. To apply online for a drainage or sewer connection, visit the link Apply Online
2. If you are a new user, click on “New Registration”, enter the required details and click on submit to create a new user account.
3. Now login with your credentials and select “Apply new connection”
4. Select your preferred ULB and select “Sewerage Connection”.
5. Fill all the required details in the displayed application form for sewerage connection and click on submit.
6. Check for any corrections to be made before submitting the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
7. Your “Application No.” will now be generated.
8. Upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.
9. Your documents will now be verified by the Junior Engineer/revenue incharge and you will be intimated to pay the fee through sms or email if your application is accepted. Rejected applications will be intimated to the applicant to provide necessary documents.
10. You could check the status of your application by entering the file number in the given Track Application
11. Pay the required fee online against your application. You will receive the payment receipt after successful payment.
12. Your application will be further processed to the Executive Engineer and necessary site inspections will be made with intimation.
13. Your application will then be sanctioned, and the connection will be provided on further processing.

• Ownership Certificate / Land property document
• Plan of the building, sanctioned by local authority
• Property Tax Assessment Number.
• Road Cutting Endorsement / receipt (If required)
• Proof of having paid taxes / charges up to date
• Affidavit as required.
• Address proof and Id proof of the applicant from the following:

• Driving Licence
• Ration card
• Voter ID
• PAN Card
