Apply In-Person
- Applicant must visit the revenue department authorities or Thasildhaar to apply in person with the documents specified under required documents session. Link for contact: Contact link
- Please use the respective selection to get the contact information for visiting the authorities to apply in person.
- Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted, will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
- The application will be verified by the Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and Revenue Inspector (RI).
- After due verification authorities will submit their report. Based on the report submitted, Thasildhaar will decide to issue the caste certificate.
- Note :
Certificate will be dispatched or handed over directly as per the request made while applying. Mostly handover in office will be in practice to get counter signature for the delivered one will be made.
In case of any specialized classes, that covers government subsidy and reservation, a notice will be propagated in the applicants residing area to see, if there is any objection for the applicant arises.

- Please go to: online portal
- In the given page please select “Citizen Login (e-partner)” from the options provided on top of the page to reach next screen.
- Please login using the prompted details. If new user, then click the option “New User Registration?” and follow the screen prompt to register.
- Once login, user gets a page to view the details for the login. Here applicant can use the respective option to change the details if not correct. Otherwise use the appropriate tab to get the next page.
- Here, User shall select the respective choice for certificate from the list of menu option as provided next to Welcome.
- Choose the respective menu option and select Caste certificate from drop down menu to get a option. Click on the option to get next page.
- In this page, user will get a form and should fill / select details as prompted followed by uploading documents (Aadhaar must) and hit applicable tab to reach next page for making online payment.
- In the Payment gateway page use respective mode to pay by filling required details.
- Once the online payment is over, user gets acknowledgement in Mobile as well as in system. Keep it safe for future reference.
- From this point on wards the process will be same as how they processed in apply in person option to issue the certificate.
- Applicant can download the certificate once the intimation on mobile reaches him for approval
Apply Through CSC
- To Obtain a Caste Certificate, the applicant has to approach respective “CSC” centre link
- NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
- Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
- If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
- Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
- Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
- The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
- Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the Certificate.
- The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

- Caste certificate is an important certificate to avail certain benefits provided by Government for the socially backward communities in education and employment opportunities for their betterment.
- Students especially require the caste certificates to secure their seat in institution
- This is valid for securing admission in all Educational Institutions and other professional institutions and also for employment.

- This certificate can be used for several years.
- An individual cannot change his / her caste once he/she issued the caste certificate. However, while converting into another religion, the class may change necessitating a new caste/community certificate.
