Apply In-Person
- To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the Employee Verification form from the nearest police station in Uttar Pradesh.
- To find your police station, select the link, scroll down to “Know your Police Station” option in the left-hand-side of the page. From the given options, select your District and Thana:Police Stations
- In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
- Provide the complete description of the employee in the section provided for the same.
- Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
- Provide the voluntary finger prints of the employee if necessary.
- Provide the required information of the employer.
- Affix the Passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
- Attach Photocopy of Photo ID proofs of the employee.
- Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
- Pay the required Employee Verification Processing fee.
- The police would fill the details under “Acknowledgement” and give you the Receipt.
- Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
- Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
Note': Make sure you carry the original Id proofs with you for cross verification.
Apply Online
- To apply for Employee Verification online, visit the Uttar Pradesh Citizen Services Portal from the link: Apply Online
- If you are a new user, create a new user account with your details. by selecting “Create Citizen Login”.
- Now login with your account and select Employee Verification option from the Services provided.
- In the given window, fill all the required details of the employer.
- Fill the required details of the employee.
- Upload the photo and required documents in required file size and format.
- Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
- Pay the required Employee Verification Processing fee.
- Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
- You can verify the status of your application from the following link: Application Status
- The Report will be sent to the applicant’s registered E-Mail ID or any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.
Apply through Mobile Application
- The UP police have launched a mobile app for citizens to use the citizen services without much difficulty.
- To use this service, download the “UP Police Citizen Service Mobile App” from the Link: Mobile Application
- Open the Application and select Services
- From the given options, select Paid Services.
- From this page, select Employee Verification.
- Create an account using your Mobile Number.
- Enter the required details of the Employee and the Employer.
- Upload the photo and required documents of max. 200kb file size in jpg, gif, doc, docx, pdf, txt format.
- Pay the required processing fee.
- The Police will start the verification process and will send you the report once it is ready.
- The Report will be sent to the applicant’s registered E-Mail ID or any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.

- Electricity Bill

- Any Govt. Issued Id Proof of the Employee from the following (Format must be in -jpg, gif, doc, docx, pdf, txt each 200kb size):

EligibilityEdit
- Anyone from Uttar Pradesh who wants to verify an employee.
- The Employee should be 18 years and above.
FeesEdit
- Processing fee Rs.50
ValidityEdit
- There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
- It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
- The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
- This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.
Information which might helpEdit
- When one applies for such verification, the police verifies the submitted information and the employee’s details are stored with the police.
- This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
- Usually, in the event of a crime, the police would be left with zero information about the employee's details. However, the information gained through the employee registration process would help the police to track such crimes.
