Step: 1 For Applying Pet Sitter Course
- To Obtain Pet Sitter Certification, the applicant has to approach the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
- The applicant should attach the photocopies of the required documents while submitting.
- Fee for this procedure has mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- Applicant can submit the application form and the documents to the respective office.
- The authority will review the application form; upon successful completion, the authority will inform the joining instruction by visiting the office.
- The processing time for this procedure takes up to 10days.
Step: 2 Completing and Passing the Course
- Certification is awarded once enough credits are earned in each section.
- Credits are earned by successfully passing a quiz with a score of at least 75%. Possible percentages vary depending on the number of questions of the respective quiz.
Step: 3 Tracking the Score
- After finishing each segment quiz, the applicant can track the score by using this link
- Sign in using the credentials.
- Note: While joining to this course, the user’s name and the password is given to the applicant.
- After sign in process, click the “Tracking Score” button.
- View the score point of the test.
Step: 4 Certificate Progress
- Once the applicant has earned enough credits, they will be emailed with a prompt to view the new Certificate.
- The applicant can also view earned Certifications, requirements, and progress through the link
- Note: login with the user’s name and password, download the certificate.
- If the applicant does not pass the course/exam, they are eligible to re-take any failed quiz one additional time at no cost.

Validity of the pet sitter certification is 3 years.

- It also includes business development and management, pet safety and a complete pet first aid course.
- The NAPPS Certification acknowledges that the pet sitter is a serious professional who has obtained a high level of expertise through his/her study.

- The deadline to complete the NAPPS Certification Course is 6-months (from date of purchase).
