Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Federal Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant, the applicant has to approach the U. S EDUCATION – Federal Student Aid link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 5 – 7 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  2. If the applicant is a student click on “I am student and want to access the FAFSA form”.
  3. If the applicant is a parent, click on “I am parent filling out a FAFSA form a student”.
  4. If the applicant is helping a student’s click on “I am preparer helping a student fill out his or her FAFSA form”.
  5. If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.
  6. If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Create an account” option.
  7. While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Submit” button.
  8. Once the registration is successful, applicant can login with their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.
  9. After logging in, applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
  10. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
  11. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
  12. Finally, applicant has to click on “Log in” button.
  13. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
  14. After getting approval from concerned authorities, subsidy will be provided within 5-7 business days.

  1. App is available in the following iPhone link and Android link
  2. If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Create an account” option.
  4. While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Submit” button.
  5. Once the registration is successful, applicant can login with their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.

  • Is 24 years of old.

  • The Applicant also has to sign an Agreement to Serve or Repay (Agreement) each year from the day of the applicant application.
