Procedure

Apply online:

1. To Apply for Employer Identification Number (SSA), the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
3. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
4. Finally, applicant has to click on “Submit” button.
5. There is no fee for Employer Identification Number (SSA).
6. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
7. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
8. After all validations are done the applicant will get the EIN immediately upon completion.
9. The applicant can then download, save, and print the EIN confirmation notice.
10. This entire process can be completed within 4 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

1. To Apply for Employer Identification Number (SSA), the applicant has to approach the Internal Revenue Service link
