United States - Adding Extra pages to your passport

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Adding Extra pages to your passport, the Application form is available in the U.S. Consulate or Embassy contact link
  2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
  3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
  4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
  5. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  6. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  7. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the passport with the authority's signature through email.
  8. If the passport has not been provided within 12-18 weeks, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.


Apply Online

  2. If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “User ID” and “Password”.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Register” option.
  4. While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Register” button.
  5. Once the registration is successful, applicant can login with their “User ID” and “Password”.
  6. After logging in, applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
  7. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
  8. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
  9. Finally, applicant has to click on “Submit” button.
  10. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
  11. After application verification is completed from concerned authorities, passport will be shipping within 12-18 weeks through mail.


Apply by the Mail

  1. Application is available in the following link
  2. Applicant need to make a print and as to fill-in the form
  3. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the passport size photographs.
  4. Mail all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer. The mailing address is provided in “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority. The fee for this procedure mentioned in “Fees” Section of this page.
  6. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  7. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  8. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the passport with the authority's signature through email.
  9. The processing time for Routine services is takes up to 7 to 10 weeks. And the processing time for Expedited services is takes 4 to 6 weeks.

  • The applicant has to renew the passport to travel.
