Procedure

1. Visit your nearest main registration center.
2. Be ready to present your Emirates ID card to authenticate yourself. An Emirates ID Customer Service Representative will be the one to help you link your family members ID cards.

Need for the Document

Established in accordance with Federal Decree No.2 for 2004, the Emirates Identity Authority is in charge of creating a Population Registry System in UAE. It is responsible in registering individual data and civil incidents for UAE nationals and non nationals residing in the country, and the issuance of a card called the ID card to all registered individuals.

Emirates Identity Authority can link the ID cards of family members in order to provide its customers with a document evidencing kinship and facilitate issuance of the family tree certificate.
