Procedure

1. You can apply for a temporary driving permit online. Access the Ministry of Interior's website, to register click the link.
2. After registering, login to the website and simply complete the E- Form - link.
3. Pay the fees electronically.
4. After paying get the reference barcode.
5. Attach the required documents:
   1. Passport (copy)
   2. Good conduct certificate from the school
   3. Preventive Medicine certificate
6. Once your transaction is finalized, a text message will be sent to you.
7. The permit may be handed over to you by hand or by mail or Empost. Get in touch with your local Traffic and Licensing Office (see contact information below) in case you have any question.
