- To Apply for a Passport, the applicant has to make the application online via link
- The applicant has to click the “Start New Application” button.
- The applicant has to read all the terms & conditions and tick and then click the “Accept” button.
- Enter all the registration details and click the “Save & Continue” button.
- The applicant has to enter all the details and click the “Next” button.
- Also, upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Pay the amount of fee in online mode.
- Review the given details and click the “Submit” button.
- Followed by the applicant has to get an appointment by using the followinglink
- The applicant has to enter the details and also select the date of the appointment.
- Enter the captcha code and click the “Retrieve” button.
- The applicant has to visit the office on the appointment date.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- At the passport office, you will undergo biometric enrollment, which includes capturing your fingerprints and a digital photograph.
- The applicant needs to complete the biometric enrollment, your passport application will undergo processing. The processing time can vary, so it is advisable to inquire about the expected processing duration.
- Once your passport is ready for collection, you will be notified by the passport office. Visit the passport office during the designated hours to collect your passport. You may be required to provide identification and sign for the receipt of your passport.
