Apply In Person:

  1. To Apply for Interpol Clearance, the applicant has to approach the Uganda Police Force link
  2. The applicant has to visit the office with the request letter.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  11. Then the application will be processed further. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. The applicant has to visit the office to get the clearance certificate.
  13. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  • Valid identity document (identity card, passport, driving license).
  • Valid passport.
  • Citizen proof/Document of National Identity (DNI)


Foreign national

  • A copy of passport while living in Japan.
  • A copy of permit of stay in Japan, passport number and place of issue as well.
  • Proofs of legal stay (copy of passport held during the said period with respective stamp and seal).

  • Application form
  • Valid citizen proof with photo (respective ID’s issued by respective nation).
  • A self-addressed envelope with or without stamps (as required).
  • Passport-size photos.
  • Birth certificate (as per requirement).
  • Letter for representatives
  • Full set of fingerprints

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
  • Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
  • The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
  • Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long-term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.
