Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate, Applicant shall approach the Department of Crop Inspection and Certification. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section.
  2. You have to submit an Application request to the Department of Crop Inspection and Certification. Please make sure the application has all the information listed under the “Required information” section of this page.
  3. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the “Required Document” section of this page.
  4. The applicant shall present the application and documents at the Department of Crop Inspection and Certification.
  5. The application is processed and an inspection is scheduled by the department.
  6. The inspector reviews the documents and inspects the shipment destined for export.
  7. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

Apply Online:

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate online, applicant shall register on Ephyto.
  2. To register on Ephyto, please click on the following link: Link and select the “company registration” option.
  3. On the given page, fill up your details and click on “Register”
  4. Come back to the login page, fill up your credentials and click on “login”
  5. Once login, fill up your application details and click on “submit”
  6. The application is processed and an inspection is scheduled by the concerned department.
  7. The inspector reviews the documents and inspects the shipment destined for export.
  8. Once the inspection is complete, the applicant shall pay the prescribed fees.
  9. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the applicant shall collect the phytosanitary certificate from Ephyto portal.
