Tonga - Obtain Marriage Certificate

- You can request for copies of a marriage certificate in person at the Civil Registry office. Make sure that you bring a valid identification in case the registry officer will need to verify your identity and your right to obtain the certificate.
- When you submit your request at the registry office make sure that you have provided these important details which will make searching for the record easier:
- Name of spouses
- Place and date of marriage
- Pay for the certificate.
- You will be informed when can you come back to collect the Marriage Certificate.

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Embassy of Tonga in the country you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will help you process your request to obtain a copy of a marriage certificate.
