Apply Online

  1. To verify a PayPal account in Togo, the applicant has to visit Togo’s PayPal website page to make the application. The PayPal account can be accessed through the following PayPal Account Link.
  2. Upon entering the Togo’s PayPal homepage, click on the “Log In” Option to access the PayPal platform. This will direct the applicant to the next page where they can start their verification process.
  3. On the next page enter the applicant should enter email address, and click on the “Log In” button to proceed with the application.
  4. Upon entering PayPal’s homepage, the applicant should click on the “Wallet” button on the top pane and then click on the “Link a Card or Bank” button.
  5. On the next the applicant should click on either:-
    • Link Credit Card option to link their (Credit card or Debit card) ; or
    • Link Bank account option to link their bank account.
    • You can link both if you'd like, but only one is needed to verify your account.
  6. If linking a card, the applicant should enter the card number, expiration date, 3-digit CVC code, and click on the “Link Card” button to proceed with the verification.
    • Upon clicking the link card button , PayPal will make two small charges to the applicants card.
  7. The applicant should then proceed to check their Credit/debit card statement for the PayPal’s transactions.
  8. The applicant should then return to PayPal and enter those charges along with the adjacent code as they appear on their credit card statement for verification and click on the “Submit” button to complete the verification.
    • PayPal will reimburse the applicant for the charges.
  9. The whole process takes a period of two days.
  10. If linking a bank account, the applicant should enter the routing number and account number, and click on the “Link Your Bank” button to proceed with the verification.
    • Upon clicking the link card button , PayPal will make two small charges to the applicants bank account.
  11. The applicant should then proceed to check their bank statement for the PayPal’s transactions.
  12. The applicant should then return to PayPal and enter those charges along with the adjacent code as they appear on their bank statement for verification and click on the “Submit” button to complete the verification.
