- To obtain a Certificate of Nationality, applicants will need to go to the Palace of Justice.
- Applicants will need to provide these following documents:
- Original and a copy legalized the Declaration of birth of the applicant or any room in lieu.
- The original and a legalized copy of the certificate of nationality of the parents
- ID photo
- For the wife who wishes to acquire Togolese nationality by marriage, you must provide the original and a legalized copy of the certificate of nationality of your husband. You will also need to submit the original and a legalized copy of your birth and marriage certificate.
- With regard to a child born in Togo, the following documents must be submitted: the original and a copy legalized the Declaration of birth of the father, the mother and the child, proof of residence and a social investigation report.
- Submit all the required documents and pay the application fee.
