Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Apply for a Railway Concession Photo Identity Card, the applicant has to use the following link link
2. The applicant has to click the “APPLY ONLINE” option.
3. On the next page, select “Proceed to Apply Online”.
4. Enter all the personal details and click the “Submit” button.
5. The applicant will get the OTP on the registered mobile number.
6. Enter the OTP and click the “Submit OTP” button.
7. Now the applicant has to log in with the details, enter the login ID and password, and click the “Submit” button.
8. Enter the step – 2 details in the registration process and click the “Next” button.
9. Make sure that the applicant has uploaded all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
10. The applicant has to make a payment online mode.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
13. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
14. Once the application is approved and processed, the applicant will be notified by the railway authority to collect the Railway Concession Photo Identity Card.
15. The applicant has to visit the office again to collect the card.
16. Upon receiving the Railway Concession Photo Identity Card, verify that all the details printed on it are correct. If there are any errors, inform the railway authority immediately for correction.
17. This entire process can be completed within 20 to 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.

9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.

Eligibility

• Orthopaedic disabilities: People who can't travel without assistance or an escort
• Mental disabilities: People who need an escort
• Blindness: People who travel alone or with an escort
• Hearing and speech disabilities: People who are deaf or mute
