Apply In-Person:
- To Apply for Forest Clearance (License) Permit, the applicant has to approach the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Climate Change Integrated regional offices of their respective state link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant has to download the application form from the following link or the applicant can select and download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to complete all the necessary details in the application form.
- Also, the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Submit the application form and the supporting documents to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the officer and collect the receipt as a proof of Payment.
- The department will also conduct investigation to check whether the applicant convicted or penalized in any Criminal/Forest offence case.
- Based on the above verification, inspection and investigation, a report will be submitted to the respective sanctioning authority.
- Based on the outcome of the above report, recommendation and other internal processing, the designated authority will grant the licence with his/her seal and signature.
- The licence will be hand delivered, or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying, or issued as per applicable norms.
- This entire process can be completed in 60 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- To Apply for Forest Clearance (License) Permit, the applicant has to use the following link
- The applicant has to click the “New Registration” button.
- The applicant has to select the types and click the “Proceed” button.
- After creating the profile, the applicant has to login in the portal.
- Enter the login ID and password and click the “Login” button.
- The applicant has to click the “Applying for new proposal”.
- The applicant gets the form selection option to choose the appropriate form of combination of forms of desired Approvals.
- Upload the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After completing all the details click the “Submit” button.
- After submit the form a Proposal number will appear, which can be used for further references.
- After submission of proposal successfully, department may have sought essential details from user agency (UA) at any during processing of proposal.
- An email/SMS alert will be sent by department to user agency for the same.
- user agency can view the details needed by department for further processing.
