- A “Patta” is a legal document issued by the respective state government in the name of the actual owner of the property.
Apply In-Person:
- Those who are interested in getting an extract of land record (patta) shall approach the respective mandal office / Tahsildar office within their jurisdiction where the property is situated.
- Link for the office contact details Link for contact details AND link2 please select the name of the district provided on the right part of the page to reach respective district portal and select menu “DIRECTORY > PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities” OR “DIRECTORY > Contact Directory “ for contact details. - Please go to the respective office. Consult with the designated authority about the applying procedure for getting an extract of land record(patta).
- Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
- Complete the application form. Attach the required documents as per our “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
- After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted. Please pay the fees/charges if applicable and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- Authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using the computer. A record number will be given as acknowledgement for receipt of the application form. Please collect it and keep it safe for future reference.
- Applicant will be informed of the probable date of getting the extract of land record(patta).
- This application will be processed further. Concerned authorities will verify the land details.
- Once the matching records are found, a printout of the extract from the town survey land register will be sent to the respective sanctioning department.
- Concerned sanctioning authority will approve the extract with seal and signature as per the format applicable.
- The status will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS”.
- Applicant shall revisit the office where they applied for this procedure to get the “patta”, or it will be delivered as per applicable norms.
Apply through Meeseva
- Application form can be collected from the nearest “Meeseva” centre.
- Following link can provide you information related to nearest “Meeseva” Centres Meeseva centre link. Click on the “Contact Us” option.
- Go to the nearest centre and collect the applicable application form also get consultation from the operator about the requirements.
- Application form can be downloaded using the following link in the given page, please select “Application Forms” option on the left part of the screen to get a new page. Here, please select “Revenue” section and choose “Extract d Form Site Patta” or “Extract Form Site Patta” as per requirement.
- Fill the application form and attach all the required documents.
- Please submit the completed application enclosing required documents as per our “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it along with the fees/charges as applicable. Meeseva operator will do the online process.
- The applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get transaction number as text message on his registered mobile number. Please save it for future reference.
- This application will be processed further.
- Applicant will get update about the progress of his/her application through SMS in their registered mobile number. Applicants are advised to follow the department guidelines to get the certificate.
- Please follow the department notification. The Certificate thus granted shall be obtained from the centre where it was applied in case if delivery is “Manual” or the certificate will be dispatched through courier to the customer’s address if delivery type is “Speed Post Local/Non Local”.

- Please use the following link to reach the online portal Link
- In the given page please select ”Agriculture” button to get a page with online options listed.
- Here, please select “(IM1) Land Details Search” option to get next page. Here, please click the “CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE” button to reach “Land Details Search” page.
- User shall select the “Search By*” option as appropriate. Please select “Survey No./ Sub-Division No” and select the details from the dropdown list for “District, Mandal, Village, Survey No…, Khata No” and enter the captcha as appropriate and hit “Fetch” button.
- The respective land details will be provided instantly.
- Applicant shall take a printout of the document to use it for their requirement.
- If “Search By*” option is “Pattadar Passbook Number”, then enter the number at the prompted space under “Pattadar Passbook Number*” to get a prompt to enter the “First four digits of Aadhaar number*” as per the space provided.
- Please enter the first four aadhaar number as applicable and then enter the captcha at the prompted space and click “Fetch” button to get the land details.
- In the listed details applicant shall select the icon listed under “View” against “Pattadar Passbook” to get the details on screen.
- Please use the “Print” button to get the printout.

- If the records are available online, the details of the said property can be obtained instantly.

EligibilityEdit
- When a land is sold, the buyer is eligible to apply for an extract of land record(patta).
- A seller, who intends to sell his/her land, is eligible to apply for an extract of landrecord(patta).
- Applicant should have the valid land details (survey number, plot number,etc) to apply.
- Landowners are eligible to apply.
- Any individual, who is in need of such records, is eligible to apply.
FeesEdit
- Please pay as per authority’s quote while applying offline.
- Stamp duty charges have to be paid as per requirement.
ValidityEdit
- The issued certificate is valid till the property is sold, mortgaged, subdivided etc.
- Based on sale, the new owner can avail this facility.
