Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting electrical contractor license is available in Uttarakhand Power Corporation contact link
2. Applicant must provide necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all necessary documents while applying for this procedure.
4. Documents that are necessary for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting for this procedure.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, concerned authorities will provide notification to the applicant regarding their license within 3 months.
8. Applicant can collect their license by visiting the office after receiving the notification.
9. If there is no information regarding the license is provided to the applicant, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
   

Apply Online

1. The application link is available at the official website. Following link is for new application of contractor licence link
2. The applicant should make sure to fill in all the basic details, address information that are asked in the contractor registration.
3. Make sure to upload the files of the documents that are requested in the web page like – PAN Card, ID Proof, Address Proof, Landowner Proof and Rent Agreement.
4. The applicant should upload a digital passport size photograph and a digital signature that are asked at the end of the page.
5. Then click the “Submit” button.
6. After this procedure, the applicant gets a registration number in their mobile or e-mail ID which can be used as a Username for checking the status of their licence. The password for logging in, is their D.O.B.
7. It takes around a month for this process to get over with and the applicant can get their licence.

Eligibility

• Applicant must have a 10th pass certificate
• Applicant must be an Indian citizen and must have Telangana residential address
• Applicant must be above 21 years of age.
  

Fees

Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

Validity

The licence is valid for 65 years of age of the licence holder.
