To obtain Duplicate Contract Carriage Autorickshaw (Pucca) Permit in Telangana the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which your area belongs to. Following link can provide you information related to the list of RTO office : RTO Office List

Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
As a first step, please schedule an appointment at an appropriate date and time that is suitable for you.
Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed.

Apply through State Portal

Application for Duplicate Contract Carriage Autorickshaw (Pucca) Permit can be made through State Online Portal
Click on the “Click here to book online slot” option.
The applicant will be redirected to a new page.
Please click the “Issue of Duplicate Permit”” link that is displayed under the “Permit” section of the page.
Click on the “Slot Booking” option” and follow the instructions on the page.
Finally click on the “I Agree” option.
In the next screen presented, fill in the mandatory details and request for OTP. Enter the Captcha.
In the next page, you have to choose the day and time that you are planning to visit the RTO office related to the application and click “Next” button that is displayed on the bottom of the screen.
Please follow the instructions that are displayed in the following pages for filling the application forms and making payments and uploading required documents.
Take printout of the application form including acknowledgement and go to RTO office before 11:30 a.m. on the date of appointment and Present the completed application forms along with required documents in one of the counters and pay the appropriate fees.

Apply Through T App Folio

Download the “T App Folio” app from the play store.
After installing register to get into the app.
Provide the contact number or email id necessary and register.
On the homepage click on the “Transport Department – RTA” icon.
Under the new page that is displayed, click on the “Permits” icon.
Click on the “New Permit” option and follow the instruction shown on the screen.
Enter the details required in the application form, upload the files required and pay the fees.
Once these steps are completed click on the “Submit” button.
Payments can be made through UPI, Net Banking or credit/debit cards.
An official SMS will be sent to the registered mobile with the application number and other instructions.
The application status can be checked by clicking on the “My Transactions” option.

Usually Permit is valid for 5 years and the Duplicate permit too valid for the original validity period as per the issued date

Usually the renewal of permit can be obtained with Vehicle fitness certificate and FC as per authorities of concerned RTO

Need for the DocumentEdit

Contract Carriage Auto rickshaw Permit is needed for a Auto rickshaw to carry passengers on a hire basis from one point to another as prescribed under rule 171(ii) of A.P.M.V.Rules, 1989.

Auto Rickshaw is a three wheeler vehicle constructed or adapted to carry maximum of three passengers excluding the driver for hire.

Whenever such permit is lost or damaged or missing, then the Duplicate for the permit has to be applied to use the vehicle for hire purpose
