Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for registering of Religious Institution in Tanzania is available in Ministry of Education contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the registration will be done within 3 months.
8. Applicant will be notified by concerned authorities regarding the availability of the registration.
9. After getting this notification the applicant can visit the office for knowing status of their application.

• Charter of the Constitutions
• Articles of Association
• Business License
• Curricula for the intended program approved by the Ministry
• Master plan od the Institutions
• Evidence of Sources of Funding other than student’s fees.
• Adequate infrastructure, human, physical and financial resources.
• Evidence of Physical Structure development or hire of premises.
• Evidence of procuring and/or plans for acquiring equipment and learning materials.
• Organizational Structure of the Institutions and
• Name and CV of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

• Any Institute in Tanzania that are fully operating in Tanzania with enough experience for running religious programs are eligible.

Fees

• Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

Validity

• Registration of a Religious Institution is valid forever.
