Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining Police Clearance Certificate is available in Tanzania Police Headquarters contact link
2. Applicant has to provide all information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, they will be notified by concerned authorities regarding the certificate availability within 1 week.
8. Applicant can get their certificate after getting the notification from concerned authorities.
9. If there is no information from concerned authorities regarding the availability of the certificate, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
