Apply In-Person:

  1. Application for obtaining Identification Card for Legal Resident is available in National Identification Authority NIDA Link
  2. Applicant has to procure the application form and enter all necessary details in the application form.
  3. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are required for completing this procedure.
  4. Documents that are required for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant has to attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
  7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the document will be provided within 3 months.
  8. Applicant will be notified regarding their ID card availability by concerned authorities, they can visit the office after getting the notification for collecting their ID Card.
  9. If there is no information provided by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
