Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a journalist visa is available in Immigration Services Department contact link
2. Applicant should provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies and originals of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting it at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the visa will be provided within 3 months.
8. If there is no information regarding the visa is provided within 3 months, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

2. Applicant should click on “Apply for a New Visa” to apply for this procedure.
3. Applicant should provide their “Email Address”, “Passport Number”, “Passport Issue Country” and then proceed with the application.
4. Applicant must choose the type of visa for applying this procedure.
5. Applicant should provide all needed information in their application forms online.
6. Applicant must provide digital copies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
7. Finally, the applicant should click on “Submit” for submitting their application.
8. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
9. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the visa will be provided within 3 months.
10. If there is no information regarding the visa is provided within 3 months, the applicant can visit office to know status of their application
