Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting license or Permit for Slaughterhouse in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Meat Board contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
6. The Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Some officials will inspect the establishment to check whether it is compliant with all the laws and will prepare an inspection report which must be submitted at the office.
8. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided within a stipulated period of time. The license can be obtained at the office.
