Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a Mortgage Loan for Civil Servants is available in National Microfinance Bank, Tanzania contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach all required documents (both photocopies and originals, whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting them at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure can be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the form will be reviewed by concerned authorities, and they would come to visit the house or land for getting to know an estimation of the value and finalizing on the amount that can be provided as a loan.
8. Once the finalizing is done, the applicant will be approved for the loan and the loan amount will be provided to the applicant’s bank account within 5-7 business days.

• Current 3 months payslips or proof of income
• ID Proof – National ID/Driving License/Passport
• Current 3 months bank statements
• A letter of reference from the employer approving the salary/income
• Employment contract letter
• Details of any other personal or other loans written in a paper
• Certified copy of the title deed (for property valuation)
