Apply In-Person:

  1. Application form for getting a milk cooling plant license is available in Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) contact link
  2. Downloadable application form is available in the following link
  3. Applicant should complete the application form with all the needed information that is requested in it.
  4. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  5. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure have been mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting it at the office.
  7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  8. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided within a stipulated period of time.
  9. If there is no information regarding the license is provided, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.


Apply Online

  1. Application form for getting a milk cooling plant license is available in link
  2. If the applicant is a registered user, they can login using their “E-mail Address” and “Password”.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on “Register” option.
  4. For new registration, the applicant must provide their “Name”, “Email Address”, “and Mobile Number” and create a password.
  5. Finally, they must click on “Register” for registering as a new user.
  6. After registration, they can login using their “E-mail Address” and “Password”.
  7. After entering the portal, applicant must click on “Services” option on the top which will be followed by a drop-down menu.
  8. The Applicant must choose “Business Licensing Services” in the drop-down option.
  9. Applicant must select their “Entity Type”, “Select Sector”, “Category”, and “Business Line”.
  10. Sector must be selected as “Manufacturing and Processing”, Category as “Processing” and Type as “Milk Processing”.
  11. Then finally, the applicant must click on “Apply for Business License” for getting the application form.
  12. Applicant must provide all information that is requested under “Applicant’s Details”, “Business Details”, “Previous License Details”.
  13. Applicant should upload digital copies of all documents that are requested under the “Upload Documents” section of the page.
  14. Finally, the applicant must check on the declaration in which they ask the following question – “Have you been convicted for crime offence for the last 12 months?” for which the applicant must choose either “Yes” or “No”.
  15. Then, the applicant must check on the declaration box and click on “Apply” for submitting their application.
  16. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
  17. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided within a stipulated period of time.
  18. The notification regarding the license will be provided in the email of the applicant.
  19. If there is no information regarding the license is provided, the applicant can visit the office to know the status of their application.
