Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for food import permit is available in Ministry of Agriculture, Tanzania contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
6. There is no fee for this procedure.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the food import permit will be provided within a day.
8. Applicant can get their permit at the office.

4. Applicant should click on “Save” for saving all details in the application form.
5. There is no fee for this procedure.
6. If all these information are provided properly, applicant can get their digital import permit on the same day of application.
