Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for Fishing Vessel License or Permit is available in Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Office contact link
2. Downloadable application form is available in the following link
3. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
7. The Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. The licensing officer shall conduct inspection to check whether the vessel complies with the rules and the inspection report will be submitted to the authorities.
9. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided to them within a stipulated period of time. The license can be collected at the office.
