Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a permit or license for animal feeds export in Tanzania is available in the Tanzania Revenue Authority Link
2. Applicant should make sure to provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents and whichever original document is needed along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Information about payment of fees will be provided by concerned authorities at the office.
7. Fee must be paid while submitting the completed application form along with all the needed documents at the office.
8. The applicant will be notified regarding the availability of permit within 1 month.
9. Applicant can visit the office and collect their permit once they got the notification.
10. If there is no notification provided by concerned authorities even after 1 month, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

• Any individual or a business owner in Tanzania who is willing to export animal feeds from Tanzania to any other country are eligible.

• Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

• Export permit is valid for 1 year.

Instructions

• A person shall not export animal feed resources out of the country without a valid export permit issued by the Director.
• All animal feed resources for exportation shall come from the registered animal feed premises in Mainland Tanzania.
• All animal feed resources shall be exported through an official port of exit.
