Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply Temporary Movement Permits(TMP) in person, Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) office-Contact link
2. The Applicant has to approach the Ghana Immigration Service centre and the applicant can get their application form.
3. Fill out the application form and other relevant documents.
4. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
6. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
7. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the GIS.
8. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
9. The applicant after seeing the notification can go to the GIS office and applicant get the certificate.
10. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• A valid Passport.
• Passport copy (bio-data page) and not less than 6 months validity
• Vaccination certificate (yellow fever)
• Recent passport size photograph
• Police Report for Spouse (If applicable)

• A fee for this procedure is GHS.10, 000.
