Apply In-Person:

  1. Applicant need to visit nearest district employment exchange office.
  2. Obtain the application form from the respective counter.
  3. With required documents submit filled in application form.
  4. The authorities will process the application online and provide you with unique password and temporary registration number.
  5. These two details are important to know the current status of the application online.
  6. After one week applicant gets a message in the registered mobile number that his employment registration is approved and can get the employment card.
  7. Post registration, an employment ID card will be provided to the applicant.

  2. In this page please click “Click here” option to register yourself.
  3. Now read the instructions which appears on the screen and click “I agree” option.
  4. Now complete the registration form with valid details and click “Save” tab.
  5. Now you have to complete the personal details section with necessary details and click “Next” tab.
  6. Now you have to complete the contact details section with necessary details and click “Next” tab.
  7. In this page please select your qualification from the dropdown menu. Then complete the fields based on your qualification. Then click “Next” tab.
  8. Now you have to complete the Technical/Diploma/Certificate Courses section with necessary details and click “Next” tab.
  9. In this page please select your skill type from the dropdown menu. Then complete the fields based on your skill. Then click “Save” tab.
  10. Now you have to preview the application form and click “Continue” tab.
  11. Then a popup box displaying the message “Want to Print ID Card?” appears. Please click “OK” tab to print your ID card. It is recommended to print the ID card.



Apply Through CSC:

  1. To Register with Employment Exchange, the applicant has to approach the respective “CSC” center link
  2. The applicant has to select state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centers.
  3. Please visit the center and consult with the center operator about your requirement.
  4. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
  5. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in their original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  6. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as an acknowledgment. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  7. An applicant has to make the necessary payment as the center operator quotes and doesn’t forget to take the receipt.
  8. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
  9. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
  10. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
  11. Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the Employment Exchange permit.
  12. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

All educated Aspirants from Tamil Nadu can register in Employment Exchange.

  • 8th, 10th, 12th, Graduate, Ungraduate, International Graduate
  • All major of graduate students are eligible for register in employment exchange
  • Discontinued students are not eligible for employment(but previous qualification eligible for register in employment exchange)
  • Failed students are eligble for registered in employment exchange
  • Other qualification( who have driving licence), Type writting Skills, Language certificate holders are eligible for Register into the employment Exchange

ValidityEdit

  • If you register your education qualification with the employment exchange it is valid for three years. Once in every three years you need to renew Employment registration certificate.

Candidates with qualifications of Graduate and Post-Graduate levels in the Professional and Executive line, can register their educational qualifications with the Professional and Executive Employment Exchange, Chennai.

Candidates who possess educational qualifications other than those of professional and executive standards can register their educational qualifications with the respective Employment Exchanges in their districts. Technically qualified candidates in Chennai and Coimbatore can register their educational qualifications with the Employment Exchanges functioning in the respective places for technically qualified persons.

  • Candidates in possession of qualifications of Professional and Executive standards could also furnish the details of their educational qualifications with the respective Employment Exchanges in the districts.
  • Such details will be forwarded by the Employment Exchanges situated in the districts to the Professional and Executive Employment Exchange, Chennai, which in turn will register the candidates and send the identity cards directly to the candidates.
  • Candidates in possession of experience could register their experience with the Employment Exchanges not later than two years from the date of discharge. Apart from this, persons who are appointed based on the nomination effected by the Employment Exchanges could intimate the fact of discharge from jobs, within 90 days from the date of discharge, to the Employment Exchanges, and re-register. Any delay in this regard could be condoned up to a period of 18 months.
  • Provision is also available for persons already in employment, for registering their higher qualifications to seek better, suitable opportunities by producing a "No Objection Certificate" from the present employer.
  • Special Cells are functioning in Employment Exchanges in Kancheepuram, Vellore, Trichy, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Coimbatore, Erode, Uthagamandalam, Salem, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Nagercoil for registering and offering placement services to Physically Handicapped candidates.

Tamil Nadu candidates can Register your educational qualification to TN Velai Vaippu Portal Online. No need to register through your District Employment Office. Post Graduate (PG) and Professional Graduate Degree holders are required to apply only through your Regional Employment Office.
