Tamil Nadu - Register for SSLC Public Exam (Private Candidate)

Apply In-Person:

Candidate planning to appear in private for SSLC examination can register with the “District wise government exam service centres”.

Go to the respective exam service centre, please follow the guidelines of the authorities.
Candidate has to complete the application form with details and submit with required documents to the authority.
Authorities will verify the details and submitted documents. If all are in place, authorities will advise the candidate to make fees as required.
Candidate has to make the fees as applicable.
After the internal processing, candidate will get relevant documents from the department through post as per the address provided while applying.

EligibilityEdit

Students who have completed their VIIIth standard or equivalent and obtained original mark sheet are eligible to apply.
Age 14.5 year(completed) as on applying date

15 days process.

InstructionsEdit

Candidates should take minimum 35% marks in each subject out of 100 marks. This is applicable for passing in compartmental system also.
For the Science subject consisting of theory and practical Examination, minimum mark for a pass is 20 marks out of 75 in Theory and 15 marks 4 out of 25 in Practical. This includes passing under the compartmental system also.

Hall Ticket
Private Candidates who are eligible to write SSLC Public Examination can take their hall ticket printouts from dge website itself instead of travelling to exam centers.

Mark Sheet
Private candidates can download their mark sheet from the DGE website.
