This certificate is issued in the interest of citizens migrating from one place to another place.
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the Family Migration certificate, the applicant has to approach their area Tahsildar office to apply.
  2. Link for contact details: link for district Select district option from the left part of the screen. In the given page please select the name of the district to reach respective district page. Here select the hyperlink for respective portal. In the district portal please select “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES>Municipalities “ or “DIRECTORY >Contact Directory” or “ABOUT DISTRICT>ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP> Revenue Administration” option for contact details.
  3. Go to the respective office.
  4. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  5. Complete the application form. Attach the entire required document as per our “required document” section and submit it along with required fees to the designated authority.
  6. Authorities after checking the attached documents and submitted application will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
  7. This application will be processed further. Submitted details and documents will be verified for authenticity.
  8. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of Certificate to the applicant.
  9. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  10. If approved, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per applicable norms.


Apply online - e-Sevai Services for Citizen -Obtain Family Migration Certificate Online with Images

  1. Use the following link to e-sevai portal to apply income certificate. Link: E-sevai
  2. In the given page please enter the login credentials as appropriate at the given prompt and click “Login” button to login.
    • If you are a new user, then select “New User? SignUp here” option under login to reach register page. Please complete the registration prompt as appropriate and click “Sign Up” button register and then login to apply.
  3. Applicant will reach the online dashboard. Please click on Services on the left panel and choose “Revenue Department” option.
  4. From the list of services please select “REV-107Family Migration Certificate” service.
  5. Applicant will be redirected to the service page on the Tamil Nadu e-District Web Portal. Please click on “Proceed” button to continue.
    • If the “CAN Number” is not obtained then use the e ‘Click here’ link to apply for CAN Registration and then come back to the previous step.
  6. In the next page please complete the prompt as appropriate.
  7. Please use the “Upload” button to get document upload page. Please upload the required document at the prompted space and click “Back” button.
  8. In the page applicant shall select “Make Payment” button to get payment page. Please follow the page and hit “Confirm Payment” button to submit the application online.
  9. A computer generated acknowledgement will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. This application will be processed further. Submitted details and documents will be verified for authenticity.
  11. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of Certificate to the applicant.
  12. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.

Note:
  • Applicant has to bring original documents while applying for verification and scanning if required.
  • Without cross signature on photograph and signature on undertaking the application will be rejected
