Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Marriage Assistance to differently-abled women (Disabled) and to daughters of differently-abled parents (Disabled), the applicant has to approach their respective District Social Justice Offices link
2. The applicant can obtain the application form from the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference, it contains the application summary and contact details of the person to be contacted.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the Subsidy Schemes with the authority's signature through email.
12. The processing time for this procedure is up to 15 - 30 days.

• Birth Certificate (from Corporation/ Municipality/Panchayath) showing that the bride is the daughter of disabled person

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

• Combined Annual family income should not exceed Rs 1,00,000/-
• Applications for Assistance can be submitted for the marriage of 2 daughters. The only condition applicable is that the application for second child's marriage can be submitted only after 3 years after the initial grant of allowance.
• While submitting the application for marriage assistance, the bride should have completed 18 years of age.

Fees

• The Fee for this procedure is free of cost.

Validity

• The Marriage Assistance to differently-abled women (Disabled) and to daughters of differently-abled parents (Disabled) is valid for one time.
