Procedure

1. You can request for copies of a birth certificate in person at the Civil Registry office. Make sure that you bring a valid identification in case the registry officer will need to verify your identity.
2. When you submit your request at the registry office make sure that you have provided these important details which will make searching for the record easier:
   1. complete name of the child
   2. place and date of birth
   3. parents name
3. Pay for the certificate.
4. You will be informed when can you come back to collect the Birth Certificate.

Processing Time

Consideration of documents submitted takes 5 working days from submission date. In exceptional cases the consideration term can be extended till 10 working days. Express consideration of documents takes 1-3 days and costs double of the normal fee.
