Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Phytosanitary certificate, Applicant shall approach the BAPHIQ. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section
2. You have to submit an Application form to the BAPHIQ.
3. Application form can be found on the following link: Link
4. Download the application form and fill up your details.
5. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the “Required documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant shall present the duly filled application form and Documents to the BAPHIQ.
7. After the application form is reviewed and processed by the Plant Quarantine Section, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee.
8. The Quarantine Officer inspects the shipment destined for export.
9. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the Quarantine Officer issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

Fees

Please consult the Quarantine Officer in charge.

Validity

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
