Procedure

1. First thing you will need to do when you lost your residence permit is to report the incident to the police (to find one that is nearest to you see 'Office Locations & Contacts' section below). They will then issue you a notice of loss, you will need to present this document when you apply for a replacement.
2. Bring your passport, a passport photo and the notice of loss to the local resident registration office in the commune where you live.
3. You will be charged a fee for the issuance of the replacement permit.

Note: If you later find your lost residence permit, you will need to bring it to the local resident registration office to have it invalidated.
