ProcedureEdit

  • The applicant should go to a Sudan embassy or consulate in their country of origin and
  • Submit current, valid, signed Passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least 1 blank visa page.
  • Submit two (2) completed, signed Sudan Visa Application forms.
  • Submit two (2) recent, 2x2 Passport Photographs with the whites of your eyes visible and taken by a passport photographer. They must not be a digital or non-passport style photograph.
  • Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency or a copy of your ticket(s). It must indicate your name, date of arrival and departure from Sudan and flight information.
  • Submit an original International Certificate of Vaccination showing inoculation against yellow fever.
  • Pay visa fees at a designated bank and submit the receipt for issuance of a visa

  2. A passport issued by your government valid for at least six months. Your passport must also be valid past the date of your expected departure from Sudan. (Passport must be signed.)
  3. Two passport-size photo taken within the past six months.

The Sudan transit Visa is valid for 7 days for air travels and 21 days for land travels.

A Sudan visa is an official government document that temporarily authorizes a foreigner to be in the country. A Sudan transit Visa is issued to foreigners going through Sudan to a third destination and whose stay would be 1 to 7 days. Entry visa to Sudan is issued at all Sudanese embassies and consulates abroad.

  • The Government of Sudan routinely denies visas to travelers whose passports contain visas issued by the Government of Israel or other evidence of travel to Israel such as exit or entry stamps.
  • Travelers must obtain an exit visa before departure from Sudan
  • Visas that are issued by 'The Government of Southern Sudan' are not valid to enter Sudan. Those trying to enter Sudan with such visas will not be allowed to enter and will be deported.
  • Due to the outbreak of swine flu (H1N1), all travellers who have transited through Mexico, or are arriving from a country infected by swine flu (H1N1) will be subject to medical examination and clearance.
