1.When the applicant is admitted in a higher institution of learning in Sudan and he / she has received his / her admission letter, he / she should start the process of obtaining visa by identifying an appropriate issuing visa agency. A list of such agencies can be obtained by visiting either http://embassy.goabroad.com/embassies-of/sudan or http://visaapplicationrequirements.com/sudanese/;

2.Then the applicant should go ahead and find out the requirements and procedure of obtaining a Sudanese students visa. Such information may be obtained from the Sudanese foreign ministry websites

and http://mofa.gov.sd/new/en/index.php
or an issuing agency identified in 1 above;

3.From the issuing agency, the applicant should go ahead and also obtain a visa application form, which he / she must fill carefully and accurately;

4.After filling form, attach all the required documents;

5.May payments for the visa and also attach payment slip on to the filled application form; and

6.Submit form together with the attached documents to the issuing agency;

1.An applicant must have been enrolled in an education institution for higher education;

2.A student visa does not allow involvement in any work related activities in the country;

3.Applicants are advised to obtain the correct Sudanese visa basing on the purpose of travel;

4.The applicant must make sure that his / her submitted passport is valid;

5.Having a visa is no guarantee for entry on arrival in Sudan;

6.The immigration department at entry points have the power to authorize or reject entry;

7.Be aware and be ready to comply with the rules and regulations of the country;

8.Applicants must not carry dangerous substances or goods upon entry into the country;

9.Applicants are advised to always enter the country through designated entry ports;

10.It is advisable for applicants to obtain visa before travelling;

11.Applications should be made within a reason period of time before travel dates to allow for visa processing;

12.A submitted must be valid with at least six month validity after visa expiration and with a blank page;

Need for the DocumentEdit

A Sudanese student visa is a special endorsement issued to a foreigner who has been enrolled in one of the recognized educational institutions in Sudan. It is a short term visa granted for a foreigner to undertake a course in the country. Like any other visa, a student visa is issued by the government through its immigration department and the diplomatic missions (Sudanese Embassies and Consular Offices) in foreign countries are the only authorized Sudanese Government agencies permitted to issue Sudanese visas in a different country;

1.Applicants must know that travelers with passports that contain visas for Israel whether valid or not are not allowed to enter or transit through the country. Therefore the Sudanese Authority shall block entry upon arrival at the entry points;

2.Foreigners must note that there are special permits required in order for one to travel outside Khartoum. These special permits are issued by the Passport and Immigration Office, Ministry of Interior, Khartoum.

3.Applicants should be aware take note of working hours and working days of the identified issuing agent (embassy, consulate or high commission);
