Procedure

1.The process starts by the applicant finding out the available and he / she assesses his / her eligibility. These vacancies can be identified when a chief of a particular unit announces available vacancies and approved in the budget of his unit. A unit in this case is either a ministry, agency or administrative office with connection to the government of the country;

2.The applicant then prepares a letter of request detailing his / her qualification and work experience, which he / she submits to the authority on the examination / interview date;

3.After the examination / interview, the authority makes assessments and gets back to successful candidates after the final assessments;

Instructions

1.Foreigners can only be employed if the authority fails to get a qualified national for a given position;

2.Applicants must meet the age requirements;

3.Applicants must be physically and mentally normal;

4.Applicants must be of good character;

5.An applicant to qualify, he / she must have completed his / her civic service;

6.An applicant must have not been previously convicted;

7.Applicants must know that each advised job vacancy has its own job description;

8.Applicants should read and understand the description of a particular vacancy before applying;

9.Applicants must ensure that they meet all the job requirements before applying for a particular vacancy;

10.Appointment is based on competence, qualification and experience;

11.Applicant must always take note of the date and place of examination / interview usually given in a job advert;

12.Applicants already in public service should apply through their respective chiefs of units in which they are employed;

13.All applications must be submitted to addresses as indicated in the published adverts;

14.In order to apply for a vacancy in public service, a person must be registered with the labour office;

15.Qualification and experience submitted after appointment are not considered;
